Parakeet Pete's Balloon

My little grandson wanted to go up in the hot air balloon so I rode with him. We both had never been in a hot air balloon before. This was a fantastic experience and we got to see all over Branson. It only goes as far as the cage holds it so you're not drifting. It does spin around but it's a lot of fun and it's great because my little grandson then got to tell his friends he was up in a hot air balloon. He even bought the hot air balloon goggles and liked to wear them it was really cute.

We purchased the unlimited all day balloon/zipline combo pass. We sat on seats on the outside of the balloon basket that rotate around the basket giving you a slow 360 degree view. It's a nice, relaxing, just enjoyable ride.!

I really enjoyed this ride. I’m not a thrill seeker but this looked doable. My ten year old is pretty cautious and he did this with me too. The ride floats up gently and it never feels scary. The seats are very secure feeling, even with legs dangling. The views are fantastic - go at sunset. It was really beautiful and the rotating feature allows you to see a complete 360 view. My only reservation is the cost for such a short ride. I think we were up a few minutes, if that. For $12 each, I think they should make the ride longer.

This was a first for our family. We loved the ride up and the view was great. The young man who was the operator had a wonderful sense of humor, and was just fun to be around. He took some awesome panoramic pictures on my phone for us as well. It was a good time and it provides a great view from the top!

Taking a ride on the balloon capped off a fantastic Branson day trip for us. The view from up there is amazing. We also highly enjoyed our fellow geeky ride operator. Everyone working at Parakeet Pete's had a great sense of humor and fun. Grab a ticket - you won't be disappointed!
