Mountain Music & Family Harmonies Come Alive in the Little Opry's Newest Show!
With roots deep in the Ozarks, The Mountain Hollers are a family band whose mission is simple: to make music together to the glory of God.
Band leader Josh Hall first picked up the guitar at age 13 and spent nearly two decades leading worship at his church. Alongside his wife Hannah and their five children, he built a life centered around faith, family, and music on their small Northwest Arkansas farm. Hannah, a bestselling Christian children’s book author, discovered her own musical calling during the COVID lockdown when she picked up a ukulele. Soon she added guitar and banjo to her repertoire—and developed a fondness for channeling her inner June Carter.
Their daughters quickly joined the musical adventure. Edy, 17, began singing and playing piano at age seven and now brings new life to her great-grandfather’s long-lost fiddle. Hattie, 15, joined the band at age 10 with the unusual pairing of a sweet soprano voice and a rock-solid bass guitar groove.
The Mountain Hollers began performing at farmers’ markets, churches and retirement homes before a move to Colorado helped confirm their calling to make music together as a family. Not long after, they felt drawn back closer to home—and what once was Josh and Hannah’s distant retirement dream quickly became reality when their lively homeschooling family settled in Branson.
See their traditional variety and storytelling show Mondays at 2 PM and Thursdays at 8 PM. Don't miss "Worship Wednesdays" at 2 PM, when you can join The Mountain Hollers as they use their powerful harmonies to worship Jesus through a diverse blend of beautiful hymns, upbeat gospel classics and a few new favorites.
